my theme song is…
Well, according to my Mom, it would be “Isn’t She Lovely” by Stevie Wonder, but I would say “I Wanna Dance with Somebody” by Whitney. I mean, who doesn’t?
i inspire and challenge my tribers by…
Being on their side. Everyone needs support and encouragement, and I am always rooting for my tribe. I know it’s not easy. I know it feels uncomfortable. But I also know that it IS achievable. In class, we are working on skills that need to be practiced with patience: the physical skills and the emotional skills, the will. It’s just 8 more, it’s just one more song of cardio. We CAN do this! I remind them that our bodies are stronger than our minds sometimes let us believe. So let’s turn up the music, and have some fun!!!
my tribers inspire and challenge me by…
Simply showing up each day.
this might surprise you, but…
1. I never properly learned how to ride a bike, and therefore I am still unable to do so.
2. I can quote almost every childhood Shirley Temple movie.
3. I was an aunt from birth. That’s right, my nephew is a year older than me.
the best advice i’ve ever received…
Shit happens. Don’t waste energy dwelling on the past when it can be spent on the now.
my favorite indulgence is…
Red wine with dark chocolate or Turkey Hill Pumpkin Pie Ice Cream. What!!!
favorite place i have travelled…
Moscow, Russia, actually. I toured there for a month and just had an all around incredible experience.

Paris.
