Now you’re in your groove. You’re hitting your stride. You’ve pushed your body, and you’ve begun affirming yourself and your work with a positive inner mantra. So what’s next as we build our healthy habits?
WEEK THREE: Let yourself be surprised. Surprise yourself with how far you can go. Experiment with your limits. Come into class with an open mind and a fearless body by committing to every movement and expecting the very best.
The how-to: Don’t allow yourself to be stuck in a rut. Try new classes and new trainers, get a coach, book a privé, change up your usual schedule or simply stand in a different part of the classroom. Always go for the 3 pound weights? Try some 5 pounders. Always nail the Scorpion Series? Try strapping on an ankle weight the next time around. Kick your complacency to the curb, and your healthy habits will get recharged.
