It’s officially fall at Bari - the walls are black and even the flowers on our coffee table are made of red velvet. Although we’re obsessed with the new photo exhibit on the Bari walls, we were all sad to see the September Sweat Challenge disappear.

After spending the entire summer between the Hamptons and Tribeca studios, I couldn’t wait to get the Tribers back into one space and back in the habit of feeding off one another’s energy. Seriously, I couldn’t wait. So instead of letting the Tribe trickle back in at their own pace, we were inspired by Dawn’s Triber Tale and created a challenge: 21 workouts in September. Maybe it was slightly selfish on my part, but I missed everyone! It’s okay to be selfish in a selfless kind of way, right?

In any case, it seems that my master plan worked. Last month, the Tribe made a full-fledged comeback: attendance soared, sweat poured and the Bari couch officially needs a professional steam cleaning (scheduled this week - you’re welcome) after the sudden influx in post-workout couch talk. In other words, I - and I think I speak for the whole team here - was in heaven. In addition to being blissed out due to seeing all of our favorite faces with such frequency, your dedication inspired and reignited our team’s commitment to our own daily dose of Bari.

And drawing all over the walls? That was just the icing on the cake (or whatever the healthier version of that is - honey on the oatmeal?).

Wondering who pulled off 21 workouts in September? The prevailing Tribers: Dawn, Kastyn, Meral, Leah, Kyle, Kaira, Lauren and Sudie. To no surprise, Sudie won the challenge (and a complimentary unlimited Triber package!) with a whopping 37 workouts. (We have to throw an honorable mention to Lauren, who made a valiant effort to take the gold and came in just a hair behind Sudie. We loved seeing you in here so much, Lauren!)
