Want to know what we’re up to in the Hamptons? We’re turning the Tribe mic over to trainer extraordinaire Katia for her round up of favorite Hamptons happenings.
This weekend was hands down the best I’ve had at our studio out east. It was the perfect combination of sun, sweat and good company (with some shopping, eating and drinking thrown in there - I had to immerse myself in the Hamptons culture somehow, didn’t I?). I could literally write pages about this glorious weekend, but instead I’ll leave you with just the highlights.
This weekend’s best-in-show?
1. The perfect array of coral colors, white jeans, and gold plated accessories - Hamptons’ ladies know how to keep it classy.
2. Mother-daughter workouts! Love that you’re passing down the “get fit” trait.
3. Girls’ afternoon at Blue Parrot with skinny margaritas.
6. The addition of new Bari converts. Thanks, Tribers, for starting the addiction!
4. A perfect day spent poolside.
5. Summer kicks — it’s a greenhouse of sweat! These sunny days are killer for breaking a sweat in the studio!
3. Mary’s marvelous is opening right next door to summer kicks!
8. Kate W, get your ass to class! (If all four of your chicas can do it, you can too!)
9. Watching the sun and sailboats on Sag Harbor.
10. A delicious brunch at Page in Sag Harbor on a wonderfully breezy afternoon.
11. Provisions - a natural food store with everything from all natural cookie dough (sounds like an oxymoron, and it might be, but I’m not asking questions) to lavender-scented eye pillows.
After such a utopic summer weekend in the Hamptons, I’m sad to leave - but so excited to come back to teach FOUR classes next Saturday, June 30th!
