Can you tell we have the idea of habit thematically running through our brains lately? (If not, see this post. And this one.)

Habit has been a huge conversation for the past month or so at Bari. We’re not sure if this is because Alexandra read ‘The Power of Habit’ and has refused to talk about anything else since. Or because we’re coming into the final stretch of a long summer filled with cocktails, barbecues and a lack of consistency, and finally craving the day-to-day habits that, when we’re in the swing of things, keep us feeling our best.

It’s likely a mix of the two. But regardless of what instigated our fixation on habit, we’re embracing it. How? With a challenge, of course.

Kicking off September 1st, we’re hosting a Triber Sweat Challenge.

The details:

  • The Challenge: Take 21 classes during the month of September. (Prives count, too.)
  • Why? If you do, you’ll receive a discounted unlimited Triber package for the next month.
  • If you’re the class pet - a.k.a. the Triber to take the most classes in the month of September - we’ll gift you a complimentary unlimited Triber package for the next month.
  • To keep track: Color our walls. Seriously. We’re writing all participating Tribers’ names on the walls so we can tally our classes. And because we all know solid habits are best formed when prompted by a little friendly competition.

In full disclosure, this challenge is part of a little experiment (conducted, of course, with your best interest in mind). We were inspired by Dawn’s blog post where she discussed testing out the “it takes 21 days to create a habit” theory with Bari, and we wanted to emulate her trial at a time when it feels natural (and necessary!) to return to routine and regimen.

So, please join us and your fellow Tribers in this sweat challenge. What’s to lose? (Inches, duh. That was too easy.) We’ll push each other, inspire each other and, most importantly, help each other set ourselves up for a season of success.
