Who: Missoni <3 Havainas
What makes them amazing: They have teamed up again this year, this time to make Eco-friendly Flip-flips.
For their Summer 2012 collection, thay have debuted limited edition flip-flops for men, women and children. They are made from colorful left over rubber pieces from Havainas’ manufacturing process used to make Missoni’s iconic zig-zag patterns. Just for this eco-friendly collection, these flip-flops are exclusively packaged in recyclable material and come with a custom Missoni knit shoe bag.
Angela Missoni, Creative director of Missoni said:
“For Missoni, the relationship with nature has always been a priority. Living and working closely in touch with the natural landscapes has inspired us to capture the season and its changing colours into our designs. At the same time, Havaianas is firmly concerned about reducing waste and re-using and recycling materials.
