You’ll love my class if…
You like accomplishing more in one hour than most people accomplish in an entire day, having sweat drip down your cleavage, and working your ass off. Also if you love Rihanna.
My first impression of Bari was…
Who is this little blonde pixie named Melinda, and why is she torturing me? WHO SIGNED ME UP FOR THIS?
Something you don’t know about me is…
I can fall asleep pretty much anywhere. On a plane, on the subway, in Barnes and Noble, on the couch at Bari. My family calls it the Pellizzon Sleeping Disease. It’s both a gift and a curse.
When I need to relax, I…
Read. I always have a book with me. I just finished a book our client, Michael Hastings, wrote called ‘Panic’. Loved it. Currently rereading ‘Proust Was a Neuroscientist’ by Jonah Lehrer. And if that doesn’t work, wine will suffice.
Truth or dare?
Dare, OBVIOUSLY. I never turn down a bet. One time I ate half of a raw onion for $1,000. Most delicious onion ever.
I’m inspired by…
Life’s pleasant little surprises, the future I know I can create, my family’s love, and seeing people achieve their dreams.
Abs, arms, butt or thighs?
I LOVE doing abs, but I’m not gonna lie, I work damn hard to make sure my ass looks good in my blue stretchy pants. BariFOCUS: Butt class #FTW.
I love my job because…
Long answer: I get to wake up and go to work with some of the coolest, funniest, most brilliant colleagues I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. Then I get to dance around to music like a crazy person in a room full of amazing people who come to Bari to change their lives and have fun doing it. How can you not love that? Short answer: mini trampolines. I love miniature-sized things!
The best advice I’ve ever received is…
‘Pellizzons never give up.’ - My Dad aka Mr. Awesome
‘The harder you work, the luckier you get.’ - My Mom
‘Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels.’ - Kate Moss (HAHAHAHA - JUST KIDDING. Cheese tastes better.)
