A fitness studio and wellness start-up, Bari opened its doors in NYC in 2011. Since then, we’ve opened locations in New Jersey and the Dominican Republic, further honed our fitness formula, curated food and nutrition offerings, developed a retail stream and established a booming multimedia digital presence. Job Description

This is one of the most important jobs at bari, and you will treat this studio as if it were your own. You will provide the experience at bari that takes your studio from a workout studio to a lifestyle community.

The bari studio manager takes accountability of the studio’s sales, service profitability, and team management. Both exceeding sales and producing the best client experience are at the core of your job.

You exercise judgment and initiative to foster creativity and provide inspiration to the team members as well as the customers.

You will be entrepreneurially empowered to generate business leads, lead client experience from beginning to end, create loyalty among clients, produce an exceptional brand experience with your studio and run a profitable business. You will be responsible and accountable for the everyday aspects of your studio. You enjoy a day in a non-traditional office, interacting with clients, hanging out with the staff and constantly navigating between multiple projects on your laptop while being client-facing.

You will be the team leader, working alongside your Assistant Manager and Operations Assistant, together keeping all projects and systems flowing seamlessly.


  • Develop and execute strategy to meet monthly sales goals
  • Create the best possible customer service experience
  • Create physical experience of luxury, cleanliness, cool factor and community
  • Develop new client leads
  • Develop, train, lead and manage front desk client host team
  • Keep track and manage studio budgets and expenses


Full time, 40+ hours weekly. Previous experience in the service industry preferred.
